GET Inspired
Being TOUGH is not enough. Our workshops will inspire and motivate your group to become radically resilient.
Relationship problems, work problems and health problems all have a strong correlation to stress and coping mechanisms learned in childhood
According to the National Child Traumatic Stress Initiative, “two-thirds of children report experiencing significant trauma.” These scars are often unacknowledged and ignored - especially by men - but negatively impact people long into adulthood.
People are great at hiding their stress, trauma and tragedy - until they can't.
Glenn and Adrianne are perfect examples of the old adage, "you can't judge a book by its cover." Outward success can mask loneliness and despair for a long time.
Both are inspiring examples of RADICAL RESILIENCE, but especially Glenn. Together they have teamed up to help people break the dysfunctional cycles that perpetuate abuse and neglect of ourselves and others, causing problems at home and in the workforce.
We provide relatable messages of hope and practical strategies to help people map themselves out of chaos, dysfunction, and disillusionment.

Glenn's Story
Glenn has a story that many people relate to:
- Growing up in abject poverty
- Being raised by a single abusive mother with an alcohol problem
- Boot-strapping his way to a successful career in the trades (HVAC)
- Becoming a young dad to 4 kids, and wanting a better life for them, but struggling with little money and no role model
- Feeling marginalized as a Native Alaskan who grew up in a village, yet never feeling white enough nor Indigenous enough
But Glenn also has a story that most people find hard to fathom.
Starting at age 4, Glenn and his two younger siblings endured four years of brutal violence and sexual abuse in the Los Angeles foster care system. When his mom regained custody, she brought them to his dad's family home, a remote Native Alaskan village in deep interior with a population of 61 people.
However, his mom wouldn't acknowledge the abuse they had suffered. Worse, she went back to drinking and adding to the abuse. Glenn essentially had to become the "man of the house" at age 9. Hunting. Chopping wood. Trying to keep his brother and sister safe. Living in poverty in an old cabin with no insulation or indoor plumbing, every day was a struggle to stay alive.
With no safe adults in his life, problems snowballed.
Angry and rebellious, Glenn ended up running away. He and his two siblings were all on a path of self-destruction, running from the abuse they endured. Glenn was the only one to survive past age 40.
Somehow Glenn found slivers of hope to keep himself alive and moving forward. He found safety at school and seized opportunities to improve his life. Glenn found success in the trades, starting out in the HVAC industry as a technician, and moving up into sales and management.
Today, Glenn is ready to share what it took – and what it continues to take – to create a meaningful, happy life after so much trauma and turbulence.
Adrianne's Story
Adrianne's childhood was almost the polar opposite of Glenn's.
- Grew up with two loving parents, who are still married and in love
- Surrounded by a close-knit community of friends and family
- Raised by cycle breakers, immersed in personal development from a young age
- Believed she could be or do anything she wanted to be
But even with good parents and a "good home," life is never perfect.
Like many women, Adrianne's story is strongly influenced by both the trauma and the healing journeys of the men in her life. Her parents were not perfect, but they were determined to break the cycles of abuse, neglect, and addiction they had experienced. Her paternal grandfather was an alcoholic who lost everything in poker game, a pivotal moment that changed the trajectory of her father's life, and her own.
As a result, she grew up around books, groups, and programs aimed at supporting healthy masculinity; character-based leadership; and personal growth. Yet that didn’t stop her from having her own experiences with toxic relationships and falling into unhealthy behaviors. Prior to doing the work, she would find herself repeating victim/martyr/rescuer roles - until she finally rescued herself. Adrianne is an advocate for what is possible when multiple generations decide to break cycles. She hopes her children will continue the mission.
Continually curious about what creates lasting transformation, Adrianne loves teaching as she continues to learn. During her 20+ year career as a marketing and business consultant and speaker, she's helped created multi-million dollar businesses by helping the owners write more compelling stories. While helping business owners launch their dreams is exciting and purposeful, she hopes helping people break cycles of generational trauma will be her legacy.
Speaking to Groups
You never know what someone else is going through - or has gone through. But we do know that stress, trauma and tragedy can negatively impact us mentally, emotionally, and physically - causing problems at home, and in the workplace.
With all the turmoil in the world the last few years, mental health has become a crisis. Experts predicting the cost to rise to $6 TRILLION globally by 2030.
Glenn and Adrianne are masters of resilience - RADICAL RESILIENCE. Glenn worked his way up the ladder in the trades, pulling himself out of poverty while overcoming significant childhood trauma. Adrianne dodged danger while working overseas, often the only woman in male-dominated fields.
Both have faced significant personal loss, while building thriving careers, and have great stories and strategies to share with:
- Managers who are having trouble finding, retaining and motivating good employees.
- Human resource managers struggling to find solutions to combat absenteeism, lower productivity at work, and rising health care costs due to stress-related ailments
- Employees who are stressed out, overwhelmed, and tired of keeping it together
- Front line care workers facing compassion fatigue who need to be reinspired that they can make a difference, especially for agencies dealing with troubled kids, teens, and substance abuse.
Your audience will leave inspired to change their own lives
so they can make a bigger impact in the world.
